Netcruiser uses IEEE standard 802.11 protocol to connect your computer to the internet. 802.11 has the ability to support a maximum speed of 54 MBPS which far exceeds the maximum that a DSL line can support (approx. 2-3 MBPS). You also have the added advantage of not having to bother about cable cuts etc.
